| Hailing originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Mr. Thomas has been involved in film production in many capacities since producing a string of feature-length super-8 films in high school. Returning from a stint in Tokyo working as a production coordinator in Japanese television, Thomas now resides in Atlanta. He was nominated for a Rockefeller Media Arts Fellowship and "New Cultural Icon 2002" filmmaker by Gen-Art and Hearst Publications for producing CLAIRE. In addition to CLAIRE, the filmmaker’s current project, UNCLOUDY DAY, also has its inspiration in Japanese folklore.
