You've been out of the loop if you don't know that the CLAIRE parties have become legend in Atlanta.  Previous CLAIRE events include the Den of Sin at the old MJQ club, the Black and White Lunacy Ball, the Clairesville High Autumn Harvest Festival (w/ Superchick and Goodpussy), the Swanky Wrap Party at the Fountainhead Lounge, Trip to the Moon at Nomenclature Museum, the Cosmo-Country Sideshow at MJQ Concourse (we luv our choc'lat puddin' rasslin'), the Garden of Good and Evil at B-Complex and GlamourFarm at Puritan Mill.

"The parties have sort of evolved into their own entity apart from the film itself with a large group of followers like an underground circuit party or something," says producer/director Milford Thomas. "A lot of people always come out and have a blast and end up thanking me for having the party when they're the ones who are supporting the cause.  I guess the events provide an alternative to those who are vastly under-stimulated by the usual weekend scene.and the thematic dress gives people a chance to show out."
